We were brought to tears over the amazing speeches, we danced the night away and we performed our hearts out just like we know how to. As proud as we are for everyone to have equality, we are more thrilled to see two people in love finally able to make it official. I still get goosebumps when I see two people in love enter a room full of their closest family and friends. To be chosen to perform at a couples wedding is an honour and a privilege we don’t take lightly.

What Heatwave band brought to the table?

Heatwave performed with an impressive 8 piece band showcasing 2 horns, 2 vocalists and 4 backline of Drums, Bass, Keys and guitar. The cocktail style wedding was a perfect choice for the venue. Smart Artz Gallery is such a hip venue for a wedding, the staff and food were divine.

The night was a true celebration.

The venue set the stage for a party celebratory atmoshere. A Melbourne Hip Vibe. Set in the CBD, the Smart Artz Gallery provided delicious finger food and a cosy but happenin’ atmosphere. We loved it!
